Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong - Cruise and night on board

Day 4: Halong - Cruise - Hanoi

Day 5: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - FLY - Hoian

  • Head north to Hoa Lu, the site of the country’s first capital (years 968-1009)
  • Visit the temples of Dinh Tien Hoang (restored in the 17th century) and Le Dai Hanh
  • Head for Tam Coc town, known as ‘Halong Bay in the rice fields

  • Board small sampan and traverse the Ngo Dong River through the rice fields
  • Enter three sacred caves, the Tam Coc Caves
  • Transfer by private car to the airport for a flight to Danang

Day 6: Hoian
